Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America Inc. donation for Hurricane "Katrina" relief.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) today announced that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group, including Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI, head office in Tokyo), the parent company of MHIA, and its overseas subsidiary would provide around US$300,000 worth of contributions in aid to the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the ensuing relief effort.

This amount will consist of 15 units of light towers provided by MHIA, equivalent to around US$100,000, and around US$ 200,000 of monetary donations.
